NOAH adalah nama baru Grup Band Ariel Peterpan yang baru saja mereka bentuk. Bagi Ariel nama Noah sebenarnya sudah ada di dalam benanya sejak 2,5 tahun lalu sebagai calon pengganti nama Peterpan. Ariel menjelaskan, ada tiga nama dan hanya bertambah satu nama baru. Mereka tinggal memilih satu dari empat nama tersebut. Namun hanya nama “NOAH” yang selalu ada di antara semua pilihan tersebut.

Nama Noah, kata Ariel, tidak terlalu ke Nabi. Dirinya secara pribadi mengaku memilih nama ini karena terdengar simpel. Dan dia ingin orang lain mendengar musiknya itu sama seperti namanya, tidak berlebihan. Uki dan Lukman mengaku sebelum menyetujui nama tersebut, mereka melihat terlebih dahulu arti nama Noah itu sendiri. “Kalau saya pertama diskusi ngeliat artinya, comporter, long lasting, dan peacefull,” ujar Uki.

Untuk lagu baru group band NOAH rencananya akan dirilis pada tanggal 3 Agustus besok namun sudah bocor di internet dengan judul lagu Separuh Aku. Banyak anggapan Bocornya Separuh Aku bisa jadi menjadi Teknik Hidden Marketing dari NOAH. Ketika kami mencoba mendengarkan di situs sharing, kualitasnya termasuk bagus. On what makes Spider-Man interesting when compared to other household superhero names like Batman and Superman, Ifans said:

“I just love the whole Spider-Man thing because Superman is so kind of godlike, he comes from another planet, Batman is this inaccessible, unapproachable millionaire, and Peter Parker is this schoolboy who bullied and I think that„¢s the kind of enduring appeal to that story. We can all relate to his bullying and the kind of flux that puberty induces in a young boy becoming a man.

On Emma Stone role as Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man:

“Emma works with me. Emma„¢s character Gwen Stacey is a student who works at my laboratory.

When asked why he wouldn disclose more details, Ifans said:

“You donwant me to turn 9-foot-tall and green and covered in scales and lick your face until you die.

I think it„safe to say that everyone wants to see that on the big screen  when The Amazing Spider-Man comes out. (In July of next year.)

Dewa 19 - The Best Album Kompilasi

Dewa 19 menyelesaikan pembuatan master album perdana mereka di Jakarta. Setelah itu, Andra, Ari, Erwin, dan Wawan kembali ke Surabaya sementara Dhani tetap di Jakarta untuk mencari label rekaman yang bersedia mengorbitkan mereka. Dhani kemudian berkeliaran di penjuru kota Jakarta, dari satu perusahaan rekaman ke perusahaan rekaman lain menggunakan bus kota. Awalnya banyak perusahaan rekaman yang menolak mereka karena menganggap lagu mereka kurang menjual.^[13] Master rekaman Dewa 19 akhirnya dilirik oleh Jan Djuhana dari Team Records, yang pernah sukses melejitkan KLa Project.^[1]

Pada tahun 1992, Dewa meluncurkan album pertamanya yang bertajuk Dewa 19. Di luar dugaan album perdana mereka meledak dan laris di pasaran, sehingga Team Records yang notabene merupakan label kecil terpaksa meminta Aquarius Musikindo untuk mengabil alih produksi album ini.^[13] Album ini melahirkan singel berjudul "Kangen" dan "Kita Tidak Sedang Bercinta Lagi" yang sukses mendapat tempat di hati pecinta musik Indonesia. Nama Dewa 19 pun seketika melejit di blantika musik Indonesia. Melalui album ini Dewa 19 berhasil menyabet 2 penghargaan di BASF Awards 1993, masing-masing untuk kategori "Pendatang Baru Terbaik" dan "Album Terlaris 1993".^[1]

Pada tahun 1994, Dewa 19 merilis album kedua mereka yang berjudul Format Masa Depan. Di tengah penggarapan album ini, Wawan hengkang dari Dewa 19 dan kemudian digantikan sementara oleh pemain pembantu Rere (sekarang drummer di ADA Band). Terhitung sejak 24 September 1994 Aquarius Musikindo resmi menjadi label Dewa 19 menggantikan Team Records. Album ini menelurkan singel berjudul "Aku Milikmu" dan "Tak Akan Ada Cinta Yang Lain".

OCTAVARIUM

Prog rockers Dream Theater tallied 19 years as a band with the release of Octavarium, but in listening you're apt to suspect otherwise. As a collective they remain as tight as they were on 2003's obsessively dark Train of Thought (like all music-school outfits, they've exacted an all-for-one formula that doesn't allow a single player more than his share of swagger), but a post-hardcore edge -- call it a leap into 2005 -- has invaded their pledge of allegiance to theatrical heavy rock. Hear it on "I Walk Beside You" and "The Answer Lies Within," both of which, at under five minutes, play like charming haikus from a band known for its epic poetry, and also on the orchestra-backed 20-plus-minute final cut, which skips around from Pink Floyd to Rush to Black Sabbath influences, stopping off every so often at a place fans of My Chemical Romance might find familiar. As with all the band's discs, guitars loom large and both doom and redemption seem no further than the next twisted verse. What's changed is Dream Theater's commitment to carrying on their reputation as underground progressive rock's classicists, and it seems well-timed.
